Television Funeral - the third and final single from the upcoming Mononegatives LP Crossing Visual Field is here!! 🎸☠️🎹☠️
In the past nothing could be recorded so most things were forgotten. Now everything can be recorded and it’s usually nothing we want to remember. Television Funeral can be seen as an entire albums worth of ideas presented into one recording, one catchy enough that you hopefully will want to remember but also one caustic enough that makes it hard to forget.

Facsimile EP on limited edition “Giallo” Yellow vinyl!!
We made just 150 copies of this great release from Mononegatives on yellow pressed vinyl. Includes printed lyric / art insert sheet.
From Maximum RockNRoll: Dowd Records issues a limited release (150 copies pressed to yellow vinyl) of this prolific Canadian synth punk act’s 2021 cassette. The A-side features two tracks of clanging post-punk with a touch of post-hardcore at the edges, particularly in the guitar timbres. Imagine a cross between SERVOTRON and JAY REATARD at his most mechanical. Not bad. But this B-side is fantastic! The title cut sounds like DEVO teaming up with A FRAMES to cover one of the more tuneful tracks on WIRE’s 154 or something by GARY NUMAN—just an excellent mix of herky-jerk guitar interwoven with an assembly line rhythm section and soaring synth melodies. Also, the record as a whole just sounds great—it’s crisp in all the right places, the vocals are crystal clear and well-mixed, and the bottom end still really packs a wallop. Really handsome physical release, as well. All in all, no complaints!

From the band: This release is a reissue of the “Facsimile” tape from 2021. Dowd Records is putting it out on a nice yellow vinyl in an edition of 150 copies. 7” records are an excellent format music like ours and I am excited to get this release out. We got the audio mastered so it is going to sound a bit different than the tape Shit Squirt Records (Italy) put out. In honor of the Italian release we went with the “Giallo Yellow” colour scheme. Fun fact about this record: This is our first release as a four piece and the first all drum machine recording we have made public!
From me: These tracks are so awesome! It is Mononegatives showing a new side to their creativity. The records are being pressed by an amazing pressing plant here in the US and with the songs mastered for the vinyl… It sounds incredible!

The other releases in this series are the New Exit In Shards 7”, the Facsimile 7” and the excellent Kill Mono flexi released by feral kids records

Introducing THE SENDER - A new version of highly lauded Furs Face pedal!!
Same super transparent and diverse fuzz circuit from the Furs Face pedal but with a new twist to the Octavia effect to make it more usable for synth and bass guitar. When Octavia is activated The Sender bypasses the lower frequency around the effect circuit, keeping the bass frequencies tone fat and rich while still effecting the higher frequencies. This creates a more tangible bass layer for the effected higher notes to sit on. It subtle but with a massive feel!
The Sender is a touch sensitive silicon fuzz with two footswitchable fuzz channels, plus an Octavia effect and a controllable circuit bending gated feedback loop. This pedal is insanely versatile with a massive range of fuzz tones and depth and takes guitar effects to place most single pedals can’t thanks to the Octavia with bass bypass effect and the computer melting, battery dying glitch sound making gated feedback loop.
The art for each pedal is unique one-of-a-kind art from Mononegatives.
