Dowd Records and Lurkville Skateboards are joining forces to release a series of limited edition skateboard decks, each including a vinyl single and access to an exclusive music premiere streaming digital mixtape. The collaboration will also include a series of in-store exclusive goods for brick-and-mortar skate shops.
The Lurkville Skateboards x Dowd Records collab kicks off in 2021 with a deck from TLA!
The TLA deck is an 8” popsicle shaped deck that is the size and shape ridden by most of the members of TLA. The vintage synthesizer graphics were designed by Tahiti Pehrson and Miguel Aldana.
Each deck includes a free double sided flexi record with exclusive artwork that will be shipped to you when you buy online. The flexi record is a Lurkville exclusive and includes two new TLA songs – a glorious and heart-wrenching visit to the shadows called Hungry For The Dark and the thumping club banger, Among The Living.
Also as part of the collab, a QR code is printed on top of the deck that opens a Lurkville exclusive streaming website with singles and full albums from Dowd recording artists before they are released to the public.
The Cry
The Cry kick off the Summer Of Lurkville with the first deck of the collaboration! The deck is 8.5” wide with slightly squared off nose and tail - awesome shape with a slight 90’s nod - and has graphics inspired by the painting used on the Beautiful Reasons album cover. The deck comes with a flexi vinyl single of their new song Everything And Nothing and access to the Lurkville exclusive streaming mixtape.
Beautiful Dudes
The Beautiful Dudes have released their Lurkville collaboration deck and their first single with Dowd Records - a ripper of a song called Nite, Nite. Their epic EP Nite Songs is available now in a hand-screened limited edition denim cover.
